Browsers provide a structured view of model data, which you can use to review, modify, create, and manage
the contents of a model. In addition to visualization, browsers offer features like search, filtering, and sorting,
which enhance your ability to navigate and interact with the model data.
FE geometry is topology on top of mesh, meaning CAD and mesh exist as a single entity. The purpose of FE geometry
is to add vertices, edges, surfaces, and solids on FE models which have no CAD geometry.
Tools and workflows that are dedicated to rapidly creating new parts for specific use cases, or amending existing
parts. The current capabilities are focused on stiffening parts.
If a variability study is created in the session, an additional export option is available to allow for export of
a variability study session which can be opened in HyperStudy to run a Stochastics or a DOE study.
Use PhysicsAI to build fast predictive models from CAE data. PhysicsAI can be trained on data with any physics or
remeshing and without design variables.
Explore, organize and manage your personal data, collaborate in teams, and connect to other data sources, such as
corporate PLM systems to access CAD data or publish simulation data.
Use the Export tool to export loadcases and variability studies.
Use the Export tool to export the prepared session to run
analysis in OptiStruct. If a variability study is prepared,
it can also be exported and processed using HyperStudy.
Before you export a model, all E-Lines of
interest and a dynamic loadcase must exist in the model.
From SnRD ribbon, Analyze group,
select the Export tool from the Run tool group.
Figure 1.
The Model Export dialog opens.Figure 2.
Enter the file name.
For Include File(s), select Preserve or
Merge.
Click Export.
Browse and select the required folder.
Note: During the solver file export, SnRD also exports
E-Lines information to a CSV file. This file will be
used in the post-processing of results.
Tip: If you have not mapped material or GD&T data to E-Lines in the session, these can be manually updated in the
CSV file after export and before post-processing.
Restriction: If Include File(s) is set to Preserve, then all
E-Lines and related information must be located main
file. Post-processing is dependent on this.
This will export the OptiStruct solver deck
to the selected folder.
Model file(s) (.fem) along with a
_preoutput.csv file are exported to the selected
folder.
If Variability study is selected then, SnRD will also
export the following:
.tpl file: Parametrized version of the model
file.
.xml file: Study file containing HyperStudy setup.
Export Variability Study
If a variability study is created in the session, an additional export option is available to allow for export of a variability study session which can be opened in HyperStudy to run a Stochastics or a DOE study.
