Since version 2026, Flux 3D and Flux PEEC are no longer available.

Please use SimLab to create a new 3D project or to import an existing Flux 3D project.

Please use SimLab to create a new PEEC project (not possible to import an existing Flux PEEC project).

/!\ Documentation updates are in progress – some mentions of 3D may still appear.

Coordinate system: by default

Default coordinate systems

To facilitate the work of the user Flux proposes some working coordinate systems. They are created for every new project. It is possible to rename them, to modify them or to delete them.

Predefined coordinate system: 2D domain

The default working coordinate system proposed to the user is:

  • of Cartesian type
  • defined with respect to the global coordinate system using:
    • for length unit the millimeter
    • for angle unit the degree

The coordinate systems are distinguished one from the other by their positioning as presented in the table below:

Coordinate system Characteristics

  • first component: 0
  • second component: 0
