Flux Skew
Flux Skew is a module dedicated to the analysis of rotating electric machines with skewing, allowing a straightforward geometric and physical description in 2D and the consideration of continuous or step skewing effects.
Material Identification
The Material Identification tool is based on the Altair Compose environment and allows determining from measurements the parameters and coefficients required to create a material in Flux.
Altair Material Datacenter (AMDC)
AMDC is a comprehensive material database maintained by Altair and partner suppliers of engineering materials. Ready-to-use, Flux-compatible models may be obtained directly from this database for a growing number of materials.

NEW TOOLS: Sketcher / Modeler

Starting from Flux 12 version, to CAD tools have been added to facilitate the geometry description, the Sketcher 2D and the Modeler 3D. To consult the functionalities of these tools, please consult chapter in the online help accessible directly from Flux software in the menu Help à Help (HTML Documentation)

The previous method always exists and is presented in the following paragraphs. But we recommend that you change the method and use the Sketcher in 2D and Modeler in 3D, which will become the default tools in the future.
