Adding a Custom Annotation to a Point and Its Derived Width
Specify a single point of interest. Add an annotation between adjacent points derived from the single point.
As an example, add an annotation to indicate the -3 dB transmission bandwidth.
Select the trace where you want to read the derived width.

On the Cartesian
context tab, on the Measure tab, on the Custom annotations group, click the Derived width icon.
- Under Relative to the, click Global maximum.
- Under Place the annotation at, from the drop-down list select an offset of.
- [Optional] Under Text, clear the Auto text check box and add the text you want displayed in the annotation.
- Click Create to create the annotation and to close the dialog.
