Design Fundamentals

romAI serves two purposes.

romAI serves the following purposes:

Reduced-Order Model (ROM) generation: Computationally expensive models are turned into ROMs that can be deployed into a system integration platform such as Altair Twin Activate, IoT platforms, or third-party software through the FMI standard.
System identification: Test data is converted into a mathematical model that can be deployed into a system integration platform such as Twin Activate, IoT platforms, or third-party software through the FMI standard.

For simplicity, the term ROM generation is used in this document as an umbrella term that also implies system identification.
