Directional Conflict in Motor
Condition
There is a directional conflict between the motor's shaft and base.
Remedy
- If the motor was defined between one feature and ground, delete the motor and create a new one by picking features on two different parts instead of picking the same feature twice.
- Enable the Restrain Centerline property for the motor in the Property Editor. When enabled, this restrains the axis of the motor so it does not move relative to the motor base (or the ground part if no second part is defined).
- Modify the model's connections or supports so the motor's spin axis does not point in different directions relative to ground during analysis.
