1. In 3D analysis, positive pressure acts in direction $n={\text{N}}_{1}{\text{N}}_{3}×{\text{N}}_{2}{\text{N}}_{4}$ with N1, N2, N3, and N4 being the nodes of the segment in the surface definition.
2. In 2D analysis, positive pressure acts in direction $n$ normal to N1 and N2, obtained by a rotation in the counterclockwise direction.
