HyperGraph Interface with OptiStruct

This section explains how HyperGraph interfaces with the OptiStruct solver.

For information on hgopt, refer to External Readers.

The HyperGraph reader supports the following:
  • OptiStruct OPTI(ASCII) format.
  • Time history plots from *.h5 files generated from OptiStruct explicit analysis.

The figure below compares the old and new OPTI formats using ELFORCE (.force) as an example, which has improved readability.
