Create Revolve Regions

Use the Revolve tool to create axisymmetric revolved regions around select solid bodies. This is useful for creating regions around rotating bodies like fans, impellers, wheels, and so on.

1. From the Geometry ribbon, click the Revolve tool.

2. Select solids to revolve.
3. Define an axis.
4. Select an extraction option.

   Revolved solid

   Creates a revolved region and section surface.

   Spin surfaces

   Creates a section surface. You can modify the surface and then use the Spin tool to create a solid region.

5. Define how much offset the revolved region or spin surface has from the selection.
6. Click Create.
