gettimesteplist

Returns a list of time steps associated with the given subcase, type, request, and component.

Attention: Valid only with Altair CAE Readers and Writers Extension.

Syntax

gettimesteplist(filename, datatype, request, component)

gettimesteplist(filename, subcase, datatype, request, component)

R = gettimesteplist(...)

Inputs

filename
Path of file to be read.
Type: string
subcase
Subcase name or index in the file to be read.
Type: string | int
datatype
Data type name or index in the file to be read.
Type: string | int
request
Request name or index in the file to be read.
Type: string | int
component
Component name or index in the file to be read.
Type: string | int

Outputs

R
Output is a 1xN matrix. N is the number of time steps.

Comments

The function has two forms. Use the first form when there is zero or at most one subcase. Use the second form when there are multiple subcases.
