Main areas

Here are the main zones that compose the “Parts” environment of the Part library.

1 Selection of the parts area of the Part Library application.
2 Parts can be managed in this area:
  • Edit: Edit a part allows modifying its characteristics by using Part Factory. This is the way to open the Part Factory application.
  • New: Create a new part. Only possible in a user’s library.
  • Duplicate: Duplicate a part. Only possible in a user’s library.
  • Import: Importing a part in a user’s library (from another library, from a folder or from a zip file). Only possible in a user’s library.
  • Export: Exporting a part in a folder or in a zip file.
  • Delete: Delete the selected motor
3 Tools to manage the comparison between parts – Access to the comparator.
4 Reference libraries are available.

Motors of these libraries are read only. However, they can be copied and moved into user’s libraries.

User’s libraries.

The users can create new libraries. See the process in the chapter “Reference commands”.

5 Visualization of all the parts (thumbnails) are stored in the selected library. Clicking on one thumbnail allows displaying the corresponding part in the central area (6).
