High speed signals are very sensitive for outside noise, it is better to make shielding with ground. In case of high-speed
signal flows over split ground plane, the shielding effect would be reduced.
PollEx Technical Cleanliness (TC) is an optional module of the PollEx PCB and a reliability analysis tool set for hazardous areas on a PCB design, using its micro particles.
To get a stable high signal transmission, plane as return path should be on adjacent
layers.
A shorter return path is better, but partial or split plane structure may alter
return path and make signal transmission unstable. You should avoid the high-speed
signal pattern on split plane. The image below depicts long return path results in
unstable signal transmission.
