Getting Started with Organization Hierarchy

Organization Hierarchy is a system administered module which helps to import Active Directory (AD).

  1. Click next to Altair License Analytics in the header.

  2. Select Organization Hierarchy from the module list.

    The Data Import tab will be displayed with the list of AD servers that is added.

    The Sync Servers button helps with:
    • Server Retrieval: Retrieves all configured LDAP/AD servers listed in the Servers tab.
    • Data Synchronization: Fetches and updates each server with the most current organizational data, ensuring that any changes to the structure are accurately reflected.
    • Hierarchy Refresh: Updates all hierarchies in the Organization Hierarchy tab to mirror the latest data.

    This ensures that the InsightPro for License Analytics Organization Hierarchy is always up to date with the most recent information provided by the organization’s servers. This improves the data accuracy and operational efficiency.
