Connect Design Spaces to Structures with RBE3s
The voxel workflow is used to generate design spaces for topology optimization. RBE3s are used to connect the design space to the structure.
You must have created at least one design space using the Global tool.

From the Design Space ribbon, click the
RBE3 tool.

- Optional:
On the guide bar, click
to define design space
tolerance options.
- Select the design space to attach.

On the guide bar, click the second selector then pick
the structure to connect to the voxel design space.
This can be either parts, components, or elements.

Click Create.
RBE3s are generated with the dependent node on the voxel design space, and the independent nodes are connected to the structure.
