Supported versions

The following table summarize the versions supported by ACIS R22 version (geometry kernel) for different import formats.

Type of import File format Supported versions
geometry import called « advanced mode » IGES (Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) IGES versions up to 5.3
STEP (Standard for Exchange of Product) STEP AP203, AP214 (geometry only)
SAT Up to ACIS R22
CATIA V4 CATIA 4.1.9 to CATIA 4.2.4
CATIA V5 CATIA V5 R6 – R20
PROE (Pro Engineer) Pro/E 16 to Wildfire 5

Type of accepted file

For import Flux accepts only files in text format. The binary files are not accepted.

Avertissement : It is not possible to import an assembly file consisting of several IGS files (*_ASM.IGS).

Multiple import

Multiple imports are available. Flux is able to import the files with different formats (DXF, STL, etc) in the same project.
