Since version 2026, Flux 3D and Flux PEEC are no longer available.

Please use SimLab to create a new 3D project or to import an existing Flux 3D project.

Please use SimLab to create a new PEEC project (not possible to import an existing Flux PEEC project).

/!\ Documentation updates are in progress – some mentions of 3D may still appear.

Thermal data collection

The thermal data collections are divided in two types, corresponding to specific data types:

  • The Joule losses (obtained with the computation of the spatial quantity dLossV). These losses can only be computed on volume supports situated on conductors. The user should specify:
    • The type of data to be collected (nodal values, integrals at nodes, average in elements, integrals at elements).
  • The temperatures (obtained with the computation of the spatial quantity TKelvin). All supports are compatible. The user should specify:
    • the temperature unit (Kelvin, Celsius or Fahrenheit)
    • the localization of the values (at the nodes or in the elements)
