AMDC Release Notes 2024.1

The release notes provide details about the new features and enhancements in AMDC 2024.1

Material Data

  • New Materials: 200 new materials added, including steels, various polymers and ceramics.

  • New Properties and Diagram Types: Materials with data for 3D Printing are now available.

  • Data for CAE:
    • New material data for binder sinter method can be directly downloaded into Inspire Print3D.
    • Polymers with injection molding can now be exported to CADMOULD.

New Features for AMDC Public Database

Concurrent User Licenses:
  • Introducing concurrent licensing, allowing a specified number of users to access AMDC simultaneously.
  • Available for both Private Database and Public Database.
Enhancements in CAE Interfaces:
  • Improved integration with Altair CAE tools, now supporting connections to Private Databases.
  • CADMOULD support for injection molding materials.
Improvements in UI and User Experience:
  • CAE Card preview can now be collapsed or expanded.
  • Reworked main menu for easier access to additional databases.

New Features for AMDC Private Database

Application Viewer:
  • Customers can link materials with specific applications and add detailed information for proprietary materials.
  • Users can explore applications and find the best-suited materials.
Data Edit Enhancements:
  • The Data Edit application is a powerful material data administrative tool used to update, edit, and create materials in the database.
  • The application is enhanced with filters to list materials by producers, type, and newly imported or updated materials.
