AMDC Licenses

AMDC provides license types such as Guest User, Viewer, Explorer, and ExplorerPlus. These are supported by Named User Licenses and Altair Units-based License models.

As a Guest user you can access AMDC for free and have access to basic material information without having to create an account. Open https://materials.altairone.com in a browser and view all available materials and names of material producers to explore the database. Create an Altair One account for free and unlock more information & use the advanced search tool.

Explorer and ExplorerPlus licenses provide tailored access to meet your needs. The Explorer license grants access to entire data content and allows material data downloads, ExplorerPlus license unlocks the full potential of the most comprehensive simulation-ready materials database.

A seamless integration into Altair’s desktop products lets you access multi-physics material properties and download simulation-ready CAE data directly inside Altair® HyperMesh®, Altair® SimLab®, Altair® Inspire™ Mold, Altair® Inspire™ Extrude Polymer, CADFEKO, and Altair Material Modeler.

AMDC License Models

AMDC licenses models are cloud-based and managed through Altair Licensing. Your license usage can be viewed and managed using the Altair One Administrator Dashboard. Here is a brief summary of different AMDC licensing models :

Named User License: In this license model, only designated users can access AMDC, each user is assigned to the named user license. The number of licenses purchased must match the total number of users requiring access. Named User Licenses supports all all access types Explorer, ExplorerPlus, and AMDC Private Databases.

Units Based Licenses: Units-based licenses for AMDC allow you to leverage Altair Units managed through Altair One Administrator Dashboard. As long as enough Altair Units are available, any number of users can access AMDC and other Altair products without interruption. .
