- Launch AMDC
  Altair Material Data Center is a web-based tool accessible through all leading browsers. Launch the application to access the Altair material data. You can customize and launch the application from Favorite Apps, on the Altair One Home page.
- AMDC Licenses
  AMDC provides license types such as Guest User, Viewer, Explorer, and ExplorerPlus. These are supported by Named User Licenses and Altair Units-based License models.

Stick-Slip Material Database

The Stick-Slip Database provides access to over 11,000 individual measurements covering a wide range of common materials available on the market.

Use this resource to analyze material pair compatibility with Altair’s Squeak and Rattle Director™ and identify potential noise issues caused by the stick-slip effect. By leveraging this data early in the design process, you can minimize unwanted noise and improve product quality.

The choice of suitable material pairs can avoid unexpected and undesirable noises occurring in products, as the phenomena can usually be traced back to the incompatibility of materials causing a stick-slip effect.

The database is ideal for organizations that design products where unwanted noise can negatively affect customer satisfaction.

Altair and stick-slip have collaborated to enhance this Stick-Slip Material Database offering through the development of a user-friendly web portal that adds significant data exploration capabilities. This includes the ability to filter data using different criteria, the saving of favorite searches for easy re-access, comparison capabilities between materials using tables and visuals, and more.
