Advanced Search
Advanced Search allows you to build a search query by combining multiple search criteria. Use filters to find properties and define value ranges. You can also add filters such as availability of plots, certifications or regional availability to quickly find relevant materials.
The search filters in the left panel are also filtered based on your search query. You can combine search and advanced search to build a complex and a specific search query.

Click Advanced Search on the right pane.
The Advanced Search window is displayed.

Choose one of the following:
- Select a category name using the Select Category drop down list. All the categories are listed here.
- Enter a category name or material property name in the search field to filter the data.
Based on your selections, the relevant material property data is auto filtered.Note: Clear the keywords specified in the Filter by Property/Category Name search field to view the relevant filtered material data. - Optional:
Enter specific DIN value (indicates the German Institute of Standardization) of
a material.
The materials matching the DIN value under the selected category or sub-category is displayed.

Enter the search input minimum and maximum values for the required material
properties based on the available range provided.
Note: The material property available range varies based on the search query build.The material list is filtered based on the search query.Note: Click to clear the search input field values.

Repeat steps 2 and 4 to build the search query.
All your search queries are displayed on top.Tip: Click any search query to remove it from the search query build.
Use Save As to save the advanced search query.
Use Load Criteria to view all your saved advanced search queries.

In the example here, the advanced search is to find materials with the following Mechanical and Chemical composition.
- Young's Modulus between 200000 MPa and 210000 MPa
- Ultimate Tensile Strength < 600 MPa
- Equivalent Strain < 18%
- C content < 12%
We will query the Stress-Strain (computed) plots category.
