UDMS Migration

Migrate product family information.

1. Attach migration file: Attach a migration file.
2. Confirmation: Confirm the migrated information and apply to UDE.
3. Reset: Clear the migrated information.

1. Add: Add a new progress step which will be used in UDE system.
   You can specify the progress step code and name.
2. Delete: Delete the selected progress step.
   The progress step is not deleted in the system; it remains as a hidden item and the Hidden status is changed to Y.
3. Permanent Deletion: Delete the selected progress step permanently.
   Note: Deleted progress steps cannot be restored after permanent deletion.
4. Restore: Restore selected hidden progress steps.
   The Hidden status changes to N after progress steps are restored.
5. Content order: Change the display order of the progress steps. After specifying the order of the progress steps, click Content Order to apply.

Manage the design process items, process settings, external command, and stack-up template for PCB designs.

1. Set Process Item.
   1. Add: Add a new design process which will be used in UDE system.
      You can specify the design process code and name.
   2. Delete: Delete the selected design process.
      The design process is not deleted in the system; it remains as a hidden item and the Hidden status is changed to Y.
   3. Permanent Deletion: Delete the selected design process permanently.
      Note: Deleted design processes cannot be restored after permanent deletion.
   4. Restore: Restore selected hidden design processes.
      The Hidden status changes to N after design processes are restored.
   5. Content order: Change the display order of the design processes. After specifying the order of the design processes, click Content Order to apply.
2. Set Process.
   1. PLM Transfer: Specify whether the PLM transferring is needed in the process.
   2. EO Transfer: Specify whether the EO transferring is needed in the process.
   3. Add: Add a process step. An empty new process step will be added to the last line.
   4. Delete: Delete the selected process step.
   5. Registration: Apply the settings to UDE.
3. Manage external commands.
   The options in this section are similar to step 1. When adding a new command, you can specify code, type, name, description, and command script of the external command. When writing a command script, refer to the contents in red in Figure 1.

4. Set stack-up template.
   The options in this section are similar to step 1. When adding a new template, you can specify the name, keyword, and properties of each layer.

Migrate design data to UDE.

1. Search all: Search design data by keyword.
2. Advanced search: Search design data by detailed information.
3. Attach migration file: Attach the migration file. A format file download is available in this menu.
4. Confirmation: Confirm the migrated information and apply to UDE.
5. Error List: Show the error list occurred during the migration.
6. Initialize: Clear the migrated information.
