Design Explorer

Improve Convergence

Using the Improve convergence option under advanced settings could benefit designs with long fluid paths or fine voxel meshes.

Prepare your model for a Fluids analysis.
Click the Custom Fluids Run satellite icon in the Analyze tool group.

Tip: To find and open a tool, press Ctrl+F. For more information, see Find and Search for Tools.

The Run Fluids Analysis window appears.
Click the Advanced tab.
Turn on Improve convergence.
Rerun the simulation.
Note:
- The Improve Convergence checkbox is disabled when an implicit part is present in the model.
- You can also improve convergence by decreasing the number in the CFL field and increasing the number in the Max time steps field.
