Define Volume Mesh Local Settings
Use the Volume Mesh tool to define local volume mesh sizes on individual solids. You can also choose different volume mesh settings, such as defining layers on thin regions and quality controls.
These controls will not change the defined surface mesh controls; you must assign controls to solid body surfaces according to the sizes defined here.
-
From the Mesh ribbon, click the Volume Mesh tool.
- Select solids.
-
In the dialog, define volume mesh options.
Select Propagate size to surface mesh to pass on the volume mesh control settings to all the surfaces of the selected solids. If you already defined surface mesh controls for those solids, the smaller size between the surface mesh control and the volume mesh control is enforced.
