Creation of a spatial quantity by storage of values
Introduction
The user can create a spatial quantity in the postprocessing phase of a project by the calculus of a formula on a support (one of many regions). The numerical values corresponding to the chosen formula on the chosen support are stored in the newly created spatial quantity.
Conditions of use
This command is accessible only if the project is solved and only outside a multiphysics session. It permits the data exchanges without the need to use a multiphysics session.
Type of continuity
The user must choose a type of continuity of the spatial quantity between:
Format | Description |
---|---|
Continuous quantity (storage at nodes) | Storage of the values in the nodes of the domain |
Region continuous quantities | Storage of the values in the nodes of the region |
Element continuous quantities | Storage of the values in the nodes of the element |
Create spatial quantity by storage
To create a tabulated spatial quantity by storage of values:
Step | Action |
---|---|
1 |
In the menu Parameter/Quantity:
|
→ | A dialog box «New (constant) tabulated spatial quantity … » is opened |
2 | Choose the Name of the spatial quantity |
3 | Choose the Continuity type of the spatial quantity |
4 | Choose the spatial formula of the quantity to compute and to store |
5 | Choose the common unit to the spatial quantity |
6 | Choose the computation region(s) |
7 | Validate by OK |
