Manage an Appliance

Troubleshoot and reconfigure any misbehaving node.

  1. Click the appliance name.
    The Cloud tab displays the appliance details.
  2. Review the nodes and its state using the Nodes table.
  3. Select a node to reconfigure or troubleshoot.
    Based on the node status, the node functionalities are displayed.

  4. Select a node and its required functionality:
    • Reconfigure fixes any misbehaving node on an appliance.
    • Reinstall fixes a broken appliance by reinstalling the nodes instead of recreating a new appliance.
      Note: Reconfigure and Reinstall functionalities are made available to resolve a misbehaving appliance or a specific node where the previous versions would require the recreation of such an appliance.
    • Online node is available and accepts new jobs.
    • Offline stops the nodes from accepting new jobs but continues to complete the existing jobs.
    • Stop power off the node. It completes the existing jobs and doesn't accept new jobs.
    • Start power on the node. The node is up and available for new jobs.
