Share an Appliance

As the Owner, you can share your appliances with another user or team.

  1. Click the appliance Name link to view summary details such as its configuration and resource usage details.
    The appliance summary details such as nodes configuration and resource usage details are displayed.
  2. Click Share on the ribbon menu at the top.
  3. To share a file or folder with a user:
    1. For Add User, begin entering the user name of a user with whom you would like to share.
      A list of matching user names are displayed.

    2. Select a user from the list.
    3. Repeat the previous steps to share the file or folder with additional users.
  4. To share a file or folder with a team:
    1. For Add Team, begin entering the name of the team with whom you would like to share.
      A list of matches are displayed.

    2. Select a team from the list.
    3. Repeat the previous steps to share the file or folder with additional teams.
  5. Select the required role and permissions.

    1. The Appliance Manager role has full permissions, including sharing and updating capabilities.
    2. The Appliance User role has limited permissions, allowing only invocation and viewing.
  6. Click Submit. A notification is displayed indicating the selected appliance has been successfully shared.

    The user and the team are added to their respective lists.

    Note: To unshare an appliance, select the user or team and click Unshare in the ribbon menu.
