Import Material Data
Import material data using file formats such as Excel Sheet and Radioss Law 36 CAE cards.
- Open the file named Exercise 2A Standard Excel Format.
- Check the entire file for any errors or warnings.
- Open the Single Point sheet and then add in:

Row 2 with lists of material properties.

Row 3 with lists units for each property.

Row 6 to contain value keys (vkeys).

Row 8 enter your material names and property values here.

- Click the diagram_Stress-Strain sheet:

Enter reference temperature, strain, and stress values.

These values are used for graphical data.

- Click the diagram_Stress-Strain (computed) sheet:

Add strain rate values.
- The columns H and I must contain strain and stress values.

- On Admin Dashboard, click Import Materials.

Upload
material
data files such as Excel and Radioss Law 36 material card in
Upload Source Files.
Note: AMDC has a functionality to create custom converters for importing data in specific formats into the DB.

Click Import. The system will automatically display the
import status and generate a downloadable import report.
Note: If any errors occur during import they will be displayed in the report.
