Net Self Coupling

This item checks whether the same net is placed close together.

If the Net is routed too close to the bent part, Differential Mode Coupling occurs between the same nets, and the transmission speed of the net becomes shorter than the predicted time, which affects the timing margin.
  • Item: Input item name.
  • Net: Define net group for check.
  • Type
    • Value: The clearance value is considered as Separation Value.
    • Width: The value is considered as multiple of Pattern Width.
  • Clearance: Set minimum allowable separation value.
  • Options
    • L1 Clearance: Enter clearances from the reference layer to the one layer above and below.
    • L2 Clearance: Enter clearances from the reference layer to the two layers above and below.
    • Exclude Short Segment: Exclude the short length trace shorter than this value.
