CAM Layer Data

  1. In the Footprint Configuration Table editor, click CAM Layer Data.
    The CAM Layer Data dialog opens.
  2. Place Boundary: Define the component placement boundary shape and size.
    1. Line Width: Define the line width of the placement boundary shape.
    2. Distance from Pad: Define the distance between pad and place boundary.
    3. Distance from Body: Define the distance between body and place boundary.
      Between pad and body, longer distance is applied.
  3. Silkscreen: Define the silkscreen shape and size.
    1. Line Width: Define the line width of the silkscreen shape.
    2. Silkscreen base: Define the measure base among Body, Pad and Body+Pad.
    3. Distance from Base: Define the distance between the measure base.
  4. Reference designator text: Define the size and location of reference designator text.
    1. Text size: Define the height of reference designator text.
    2. Location: Select the location of reference designator text among Top-Left, Top-Center, Top- Right, Center, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Center and Bottom-Right.
    3. Rotation: Define the rotation angle of reference designator text.
  5. Part name text: Define the size and location of part name text.
    1. Text size: Define the height of part name text.
    2. Location: Select the location of part name text among None, Top-Left, Top-Center, Top-Right, Center, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Center and Bottom-Right.
    3. Rotation: Define rotation angle of part name text.
  6. First pin mark: Define the shape and location of the first pin mark.
    1. First pin mark: To use First pin mark, select the check box.
    2. Mark shape: Select the shape of first pin mark among Fill Circle, Circle, Cross, Bar, Fill Triangle and Triangle.
    3. Line width: Define the line width of first pin mark shape.
    4. Clearance from pad: Define the distance between first pin mark and the pad of first pin.
  7. Center mark: Define the shape of center mark.
    1. Center mark: To use Center mark, select the check box.
    2. Line width: Define the line width of center mark.
  8. Pin count mark: Define the shape and location of pin count mark.
    1. Pin count mark: Check to use pin count mark.
    2. Mark shape: Select the shape of pin count mark among Long Bar and Short Bar.
    3. Pin count interval: Define the placement interval of pin count mark.
    4. Line width: Define the line width of pin count mark shape.
  9. Pin count expansion mark: Define the shape and location of pin count expansion mark.
    1. Pin count expansion mark: Check to use pin count expansion mark.
    2. Mark shape: Select the shape of pin count expansion mark among Long Bar and Short Bar.
    3. Pin count interval: Define the placement interval of pin count expansion mark.
    4. Line width: Define the line width of pin count expansion mark shape.
  10. Remove: Remove the selected configuration table.
  11. Edit: Edit the selected configuration table.
  12. Copy: Copy the selected configuration table as other name.
