    - View Linear Static Results
      Linear static analysis produces a number of different result types for each load case depending on the type of analysis that was run and what options where chosen. Select a run, load case, and result type in the Analysis Explorer to view the results of a linear static analysis.

      Use the Analysis Explorer to view normal modes results.
    - View Buckling Modes Results
      Use the Analysis Explorer to view buckling modes results. Buckling modes are only available when running an OptiStruct analysis.
  - Animate and Record Results
    Use the Animation Toolbar that appears at the bottom of the modeling window to animate and record results.
- Structural Optimization
  Set up and run a topology, topography, or gauge optimization.
- Report
  Generate PPT or PDF reports from analysis results. The Report tools are available after you have run an analysis.

Set up and run a motion analysis, plot the results, and export the results.

Prepare and run a computational fluid dynamics simulation.
Design Explorer
Evaluate designs by using geometric variables and applying a design-of-experiments (DOE) or optimization method. We recommend fully constraining your sketch when sketch variables are used in the design exploration.
Manufacture
Set up and run a basic porosity or thinning analysis.
Print 3D
Prepare and run an additive manufacturing simulation, and export a file for 3D printing.
Rendering
Adjust the materials and environment of objects in the scene to create a photorealistic image.

View Buckling Modes Results

Use the Analysis Explorer to view buckling modes results. Buckling modes are only available when running an OptiStruct analysis.

Run an analysis with buckling modes selected.

On the Structures ribbon, select the Show Analysis Results tool on the Analyze icon.

Tip: To find and open a tool, press Ctrl+F. For more information, see Find and Search for Tools.
Select the run you want to view in the Analysis Explorer.
Select one of the (Buckling) load cases.
Select a Buckling Load Factor. The displacement for the selected mode is displayed on the modeling window. If the value for that mode is displayed in the modeling window. If the value for that mode is between 1 and 0, the part is predicted to buckle. If the value is between 0 and -1, it will buckle in the opposite direction.
Right-click or press Esc to close the Analysis Explorer and return to the original part.
Tip:
- To change the upper or lower bound for the results slider, click on the bound and enter a new value.
- To filter the results so that areas on the model with displacement greater than a specified value are masked, click and drag the arrow on the results slider.
