Design Explorer

GPU Out of Memory

Condition

If you receive an error message that says GPU Out of Memory, follow the instructions below:

Remedy

Check the Log file for a GPU Out of Memory message.
1. Run a fluids analysis.
2. In the Run Status window, right-click the completed analysis, then select Open Run Folder.
3. Open projectParameters.cfdx.1.Log.
4. Evaluate the log file for GPU-related errors.
Increase your voxel size.
1. Prepare your model for a fluids analysis.
2. Click the Custom Fluids Run satellite icon in the Analyze tool group.
  
  The Run Fluids Analysis window appears.
3. Enter a lower value for Number of voxels.
4. Rerun the analysis.
