Define Time History Output
Use the Probe tool to monitor time history data on defined points at specific time intervals.
Define Probe Points
Monitor time history data on isolated points.

Form the Solution ribbon, click the body of the
Probe tool.
- Click in empty space or on geometry to place a probe point.
- Continue clicking to place more probe points.
- Click on an existing point to modify its location using the Move tool.
- In the microdialog, define the radius, output frequency, and time interval for the created point(s).

Middle mouse click or press Esc
to confirm the point(s).
After executing, the next left-click will create a new set of probe points with distinct output frequencies and time intervals.
Define Line Rakes
Monitor time history data on points in a line.

Form the Solution ribbon, click the line on the
Probe tool.
- Click in empty space or on geometry to place the starting point for the line.
- Click again to place the end point.
- In the microdialog, define the number of points in the line, the radius of each point, and the output frequencies/time intervals.

Click on either of the end points to reposition them using the Move tool.
You can also reposition the entire line by clicking on any of the points in between.

Middle mouse click or press Esc
to confirm the line.
After executing, the next left-click will create the start of a new line.
