Since version 2026, Flux 3D and Flux PEEC are no longer available.
Please use SimLab to create a new 3D project or to import an existing Flux 3D project.
Please use SimLab to create a new PEEC project (not possible to import an existing Flux PEEC project).
/!\ Documentation updates are in progress – some mentions of 3D may still appear.
Transient Electric region: about
What we can simulate?
By using regions it is possible to describe:
- material media such as:
- air or vacuum (permittivity εr=1)
- dielectric and non-conducting (εr permittivity)
- dielectric and conducting (εr permittivity and ρ resistivity)
- boundary conditions of the following types:
- perfect conductor (normal field on the surface and equipotential surface)
- imposed electric potential (on faces or on lines)
- normal electric field (on faces)
- tangent electric field (on faces)
