Since version 2026, Flux 3D and Flux PEEC are no longer available.

Please use SimLab to create a new 3D project or to import an existing Flux 3D project.

Please use SimLab to create a new PEEC project (not possible to import an existing Flux PEEC project).

/!\ Documentation updates are in progress – some mentions of 3D may still appear.

Example: high voltage tests

High voltage tests

In order to test the lightening shock resistance of the high voltage transmission materials, high voltage tests are done, by following the existing norms defining the shock wave characteristics.

The electric field values in the insulators are analyzed to check that it is lower than the material dielectric strength.

Test on junction block

For example, it is now possible in Flux transient electric application, to study a high voltage shock test on a junction block.
