Manage Thing Security

To manage the security of the Thing, use the Interfaces panel, as shown below:

Things are password-secured. Things also need credentials to share information. These credentials are created when the Thing is created.

  1. The HTTP credentials can be changed as desired by clicking Reset Secret ID.
  2. The MQTT user and password can be changed by clicking Autogenerate: on, or you can choose to define the user and/or the password. Use the Enabled/Disabled option to select your preference.
