Fill one or more closed curves to create a 3D surface. The curves can be sketch curves or a planar set of curves.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Surfaces tab.
  2. Click the FillPath icon.

  3. Select one or more closed curves. To deselect a curve, click it again. Right-click to confirm.
  4. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
Note: FillPath creates planar output only. Use the patch tool to create non-planar or 3D surfaces.
The FillPath tool can create sheet geometries with holes and cutouts. Just select the boundary curve/s first and then the curves to trim.
