Sketching
Create and edit a 2D sketch curve. A sketch curve is any "wire" entity such as a line, rectangle, circle, or arc.
Curves
Create and edit 3D curves by extending, rebuilding, intersecting, splitting, and projecting the shapes.
Surfaces
Create and edit 3D surfaces and solids by creating primitives or editing existing curves and surfaces.
PolyNURBS
Create polygonal surfaces that can easily be converted into NURBS surfaces.
Modify
Create new objects by manipulating and modifying source objects.
- Split
  Split one or more source objects to create a new object.
- Booleans
  Create a new object between solids.
- Modify
  Manipulate a source object to create a new object.
  - Multi-Edit
    Edit the points of curves and surfaces. Or translate, rotate, and scale the points of more than one object at the same time.
  - Round
    Round one or more edges by creating a constant or variable radius fillet. This tool can handle challenging geometry such as overlapping rounds.
  - Face Round
    Create a separate filleted surface from two intersecting faces sets.
  - Shelling
    Create a hollowed-out shell from one or more solid objects.
  - Offset
    Create an offset object from one or more surfaces at a specified distance from the source object(s).
  - Surface Extract
    Extract one or more surfaces of an object.
  - Combine
    Combine two or more surface objects, that share at least one coincident edge, into a single surface object.
  - Uncombine
    Separate a combined surface object to create separate surface objects.
  - Rebuild
    Rebuild one or more surfaces by changing the number of control points. This tool simplifies a surface while maintaining its shape.
  - Extend
    Extend a surface along one or more edges. You can extend the surface to a curve or another surface.
  - Symmetry
    Create symmetric copies of selected objects.
    - Planar Symmetry
      Create a symmetric copies of selected objects across a symmetry plane.
    - Radial Symmetry
      Create symmetric copies of selected objects in a radial pattern.
  - Replicate
    Replicate a source object along a path by defining the number of copies or by defining the distance between each copy.
  - Duplicate
    Create a copy of an object with a parent-child relationship. When you change the parameters of the source object, all of the duplicates are updated automatically in the construction history.
Direct
Quickly modify objects that are not a part of Construction History.
Deform
Deform one or more objects with respect to an axis.
Analysis
Analyze curves and surfaces, import simulation data, or access the Design Table and Variable Manager.
Dimensions
Dimension a line, edge, bounding box, angle, and radius/diameter in order to create objects which must fit predefined dimensions.
Drawing
Create detailed 2D drawings of the selected parts of a complex 3D model from multiple perspectives.
Rendering
Adjust the materials, environment, and properties of objects in the scene to create a photorealistic image.
Animation
In Inspire Studio you can animate an object or group and the camera. There are two methods of animation: key frame animation and path animation.
Die Design
Create a draw die in Inspire Studio that you can export to Inspire Form to perform a stamping simulation.
Custom Plug-ins and Scripts
You can use C++ and Python to add custom operations and file formats.

Symmetry

Create symmetric copies of selected objects.

When the source objects are updated in the construction history, the symmetric copies are updated as well.

Planar Symmetry
Create a symmetric copies of selected objects across a symmetry plane.
Radial Symmetry
Create symmetric copies of selected objects in a radial pattern.
