Hoe Normal Offset of 3-Node Edge

The hoe normal offset of a 3-node edge is defined as the ratio between the mid-side node's normal offset distance (distance between the mid-side node and the line connecting the two corner nodes of the edge) and the distance between the two corner nodes.
