Change the Display of Model Elements

Once an iso surface is created, you can control the iso value displayed on the screen and select how the model elements are displayed.
  1. From the View Controls toolbar, click .
  2. From the Iso panel, enter a value in the Current value text box.
    Tip: You can also use the slider bar to increase or decrease the current iso value in order to display a specific value.
  3. Optional: Change the value in the Increment by text box to adjust the slider bar movement.
  4. Select an option for Show values to display elements based on result values.

    Equal Updates the graphics display so that all elements with result values equal to the current iso surface level are displayed (unmasked) based on their display attributes defined on the Entity Attributes panel.
    Above Updates the graphics display so that all elements with result values above the current iso surface level are displayed (unmasked) based on their display attributes defined on the Entity Attributes panel.
    Below Updates the graphics display so that all elements with result values below the current iso surface level are displayed (unmasked) based on their display attributes defined on the Entity Attributes panel.
  5. Activate the Color check box, then click the color button to select a vector color from the palette.
  6. Display the feature lines of the components (parts) which have iso values applied to them by activating the Features check box (located under Clipped geometry).
  7. Display the components (parts) which have iso values applied to them as a transparent surface by activating the Transparent check box (located under Clipped geometry).
