Define Preformed Shape

Use the Preformed Shape option to apply a user-defined blank shape in the model in place of the default, flat blank shape.

Running an analysis with a blank that is shaped to the desired shape of the formed part or binder may increase the accuracy of the deformation results.

After setting up your model and prior to running an analysis, right-click on the model or FE mesh.
From the context menu, select Preformed Shape.
Run your analysis.
