Bearing
Introduction
Once the shaft is selected, the section of Bearing is unlocked, meaning that it is
possible to access the bearing settings. There are two possible choices:
- None: No dimension to declare. There is no bearing.
- With bearings: Bearings characteristics must be defined - Structural data of bearings are then edited.
Remember: Once the housing is designed, the
selection of both Shaft design and Bearing is mandatory for accessing the
internal cooling topology design area.

Note: When the machine is designed with bearings, they are
represented and considered in the rotor design. See the different configurations
below.
