Motion type in Flux
Introduction
This paragraph deals with the different modes of treatment of the motion in Flux.
Motion
Within the framework of a study, it is possible to take into account:
- a motion:
- of translation along a principal axis (X, Y or Z axes)
(X, Y or Z axis) in 3D / Y axis only in 2D
-
of rotation around a principal axis (X, Y or Z axes)
(X, Y or Z axis) in 3D / Z axis only in 2D
- of translation along a principal axis (X, Y or Z axes)
- with one of the following technique:
- sliding without re-meshing (the fixed part and the moving part slip one with respect to the other)
- displacement with re-meshing (the moving part moves in the air area)
These different possibilities are summarized in the table below.
| Type | Translation | Rotation | |
|---|---|---|---|
|
