Models for electric circuit components
Introduction
The electric circuit contains different components that can be:
- Generic components :
- Ideal voltage or current sources
- Passive components (resistors, inductances, capacitors)
- Semi-conductors (switches, diodes)
- Specific components for rotating machines (brush-segment, squirrel cage).
- Specific components representing the conductors in the electric circuit
corresponding to regions in the finite elements domain:
- Solid conductors
- Coil conductors
This section concerns the components and their modeling (model proposed for the current/voltage characteristic).
