FEMT 2023.1: New ribbon with possible functions on a test

Introduction

The following actions on a test have been highlighted in a ribbon bar on the top:
  • the report export (HTML and PDF formats)
  • the data export (TXT format)
  • the system export (MAT format for Look Up Table)
  • the quick run with new parameters (update of efficient maps)
Note: Postprocess with New Command has been rename in Quick Run with new parameters because several parameters possible to modify before re-compute have been added in this function, and all these parameters are not for the command (command or X factor,…).

The accesses via the table list of tests is already existing.

For more accessibility and visibility, these functions on the selected test have been added on the top.

The both possible accesses are always available.

Steps for Export functions

To export a test:

  1. Open your FEMT component previously computed
  2. Display the test by double clicking on it

    → the test is displayed in the central area and the ribbon bar of possible functions appears at the top

  3. Click on EXPORT

  4. Click in the export format you want (PDF or HTML or TXT or LUT)

    →if you choose for example LUT, the dialog box is opened to MAT export

    Note: The access to this dialog box can be also:
    • by clicking on the button Export (the button in the red rectangle below)

    • or Select the test and do a right click on the test and click on Export

  5. Choose the Destination Directory
  6. Choose a Name
  7. Validate the dialog box

Steps for Quick Run functions

Quickly to create and run a test:

  1. Open your FEMT component previously computed
  2. Display the test by double clicking on it

    → the test is displayed in the central area and the ribbon bar of possible functions appears at the top

  1. Click on QUICK RUN

  2. Click in MAPS > NEW INPUTS

  3. Open the Quick run with new parameters dialog box:
    Note: It's also possible to open the Quick run dialog box:
    • by selecting the test in the list and by clicking on
    • or by a right-click on the test and by selecting in the contextual menu → Quick run

    → the dialog is opened

  4. Fill the fields with the new customs values and validate

    a new test is automatically created in the TESTS table and the maps are generated in few seconds
