Subdivision Surface
Convert a PolyNURBS part to a subdivision surface for faster exit from PolyNURBS tools.
Every time you enter or exit PolyNURBS editing mode, Inspire does a geometry conversion that can take significant time for large models. To mitigate this, you can select the Subdivision Surface check box to the right of the modeling window when in PolyNURBS editing mode. Inspire Cast will then visualize the PolyNURBS as a subdivision mesh, which speeds up processing. At any point, you can edit the PolyNURBS and deselect the Subdivision Surface option to convert back to NURBS surfaces to perform geometry operations.
