It will be an ideal condition if impedance at input and output ends are the same.
This condition is called impedance matching and output signal can send its signal to
input side without any loss.
If there is a discontinuity on power or ground plane under a high-speed signal, there
can be impedance mismatching and it makes noise on signal flow. Figure 1.
