Volume

Calculates the solid/shell volume.

Inputs

elems
An element entity table.
thickness
A shell thickness scalar table.
parts
A part entity table.
coords
A coordinate vector value table.

Outputs

answer
A scalar value table.

Comments

  • Only shell and solid elements are processed.
  • Thickness and parts arguments default to NULL.
  • If thickness and/or parts are NULL, only solid elements will be processed.
  • All vectors in coords must be relative to the global system.
  • Composite thickness is unsupported at this time.
