Sheet

Create a drawing sheet. You can select a predefined paper size or define a custom width and height. You can also specify the projection type, frame type, and frame margins.

  1. On the ribbon, click the Drawing tab.
  2. Click the Sheet icon.
  3. Select a Size:
    • Custom: Select this option to enter a custom Height and Width.
    • A0
    • A1
    • A2
    • A3 (default)
    • A4 Portrait
  4. Select a type of Projection.
    • First Angle: The object lies between you and the plane of projection. The left view is projected on the right plane and vice versa. This is the standard in India and Europe.
    • Third Angle: The plane or projection lies between you and the object. The left view is projected on the left plane itself. This is the standard in USA.
  5. Select a Frame Type.
    • None
    • Simple
    • With Markers
  6. Define the Frame Margins along the Left, Top, Right, and Bottom.
  7. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
    Tip: To modify the properties of an existing sheet, in the Model Browser, click the Drawing tab, and then double-click the name of the sheet.
Now you can create view sets.
