Preferences

Define preferences for drawing sheets.

On the Drawing tab, click the Preferences icon.

Preference Description
Projection First Angle: The object lies between you and the plane of projection. The left view is projected on the right plane and vice versa. This is the standard in India and Europe.

Third Angle: The plane or projection lies between you and the object. The left view is projected on the left plane itself. This is the standard in USA.
Default Sheet Properties Define the default size, frame type, and line thickness of sheets.
Size:
  • Custom: Select this option to enter a custom Height and Width.
  • A0
  • A1
  • A2
  • A3
  • A4 Landscape
  • A4 Portrait

Frame Type: Choose from None, Simple, and With Markers.

Line Thickness: Enter the thickness of the Internal line and External line.
