Section View

Create a section view of selected objects in the scene, cut across a plane which you can reposition.

1. On the ribbon, click the Drawing tab.
2. Click the Section View icon.
   
   
3. Select a view for the section.
4. To position the section plane, move the mouse cursor and click.
5. To position the section view, click on the drawing sheet.
   Note: To invert the section side, in the guide bar click Invert section side .
6. To modify the section view, double-click it and select a Section type.
   • Horizontal
   • Vertical
   • Free : To rotate the section, drag the Section Angle graphic manipulator in the modeling view or, in the Control Panel, enter an Angle.
   Note: If you reposition the section plane, the section view is updated automatically.
7. Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
